The same type of diet or body work out routine doesn't work for everyone; since there are different types of body types out there, it is important to know which category you fit and how you alter your diet and body work out routine so it serves you properly.

'Scientifically' there are three body types which people can identify as... which are:

Ectomorphs, Mesemorphs and Endomorphs.

<a href="https://thefredalee.files.wordpress.com/2015/05/ectomorph-body-type.png"><img src="https://thefredalee.files.wordpress.com/2015/05/ectomorph-body-type.png?w=300" alt="ectomorph-body-type" width="300" height="125" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-118" /></a>

Ectomorphs

Ectomorphs tend to be skinny and tall, they also posses thin muscles, a fast metabolism, decreased endurance, small shoulders and chest, delicate bones, lose weight super easy and find it rather difficult to gain muscle.

Mesomorphs

Mesomorphs tend to be a bit more bigger than the Ectomorphs. Mesomorphs have a lean figure, heavy body, a fast metabolism, are able to gain weight, muscular, have a lower body fat percentage, larger muscles and strong legs.

Endomorphs

Endomorphs tend to be soft and round, posses thick arms and legs, may find it difficult to lose weight, have a slower metabolism and low endurance.

You can also be in a mix of body types, for example you can be in between an Ectomorph and Mesomorph, or an Endomorph and a Mesomorph.

When you understand your body type, you understand the type of meals you should be eating, because for example a Endomorph can't eat what an Ectomorph would eat, if an Ectomorph's goal was to gain weight.

Define selfish? Well according to the oxford dictionary, it is defined as “lacking consideration for other people; concerned chiefly with one’s own personal profit of pleasure”, therefore me and oxford dictionary have completely different definitions.

I associate being selfish with focusing on yourself and not neglecting your needs, we spend so much of our lives trying to please others, bend our back over helping those who possibly wouldn’t do the same back and forgetting what we want out of life. When trying to find out where the heck you want to be in life, sometimes you need to pull out the deck chair, grab a glass of amaretto or rose and just sit there and question certain things in your life. Sure we can take on advice from family, friends and others, but to do really agree with it?

You gotta watch your own back because no one can do it better than you. Forget putting expectations into outside sources, the only person you should highly expect of is you, people can iffy and people may not always return a favour. It’s easy to conform to the ideas of others and forget our own, they can have such a huge impact on the way we act, the choices we make and our ambition. You may look up to other individuals, but who you do want to be? Do people look up to you?

“You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with” – Jim Rohn

Being self-focused and scheduling some “me time” may have a number of benefits such as;

<strong>Being an healthy individual </strong>

When your being your self-focused, you’ll take better care of yourself, you won’t be giving away too much of energy and focusing on the needs of others.

<strong>Creating better relationships</strong>

You focus on other people’s needs way too much and not on your own, you may end becoming the ‘yes man’. When you’re able to focus on yourself, you can tell your partner or whoever boundaries, you’ll be healthy and grounded and can rely on yourself to fill your emotional needs.

<strong>Dancing around happy</strong>

Being selfish, you’ll end up doing things that YOU like instead pretending to like shit you could care less about. You’ll be able to discover who are, what you like and what you don’t like. Happiness will abundant in your court and the days of moping around will be somewhat over.

And that is why you should a young and selfish lifestyle. Take responsibility in terms looking after yourself, putting yourself first and getting what you need.

A little bit of selfishness won’t hurt anyone,
